I have been waiting for STARGAZER to run since Goodwood where I stated after the race the horse will appreciate a step up in trip. This is exactly what he gets here and I am really looking forward to seeing how he gets on. STARGAZER finished 3rd at Goodwood but really should’ve been winning had the gaps not closed. He stayed on at the end of the race suggesting the step up in trip would bring improvement. On his penultimate start he was an easy winner at Sandown on Good to soft ground. I don’t think he is ground dependant as he has form on faster ground aswell. The thing I like about Stargazer his lovely long stride. He eats up the ground and has the ability to put a race to bed in a matter of strides. This is my bet of the day.
