“Hi my name is James Walsh. I have been studying horses since the age of 14. It was something that started out as a hobby but is now a professional career. The knowledge and experience I have is second to none. From a young age horses have caught my eye.  As soon I started watching races live I was hooked. I was asking myself questions like how could that horse win or how could that horse lose?

I took it upon myself to find answers. I read form, looked at statistics, watched replays and did everything I could to develop my knowledge and understanding. I learnt to understand the movement of racehorses in action. From the way a horse gallops to which ground is best suited to them. I have done vast amounts of reading, listened to other experts and valued opinions. All this has given me the insight and knowledge to draw my own educated conclusion.

I came to a point at about the age of 17 where I was making good money from a small stake and I told myself that I needed to up my game. Become even more serious and focused and be willing to lay out even more money. From that day I have not looked back.

·         My career highlights are the first horse I picked as a 14 year old and it won, we all remember earth summit, grand national winner 1998. My next bet was a year later bobbyjo, 1999 grand national winner 2 out of 2 and only 15.

·         The best highlight of my career was cheltenham festival 2010, what a day. I took an early 50-1  large each-way stake on chief dan george while at the course. Then I actually got to enter the winners enclosure and see chief dan george be paraded after his win, the ultimate buzz of a professional punter.  I have many great highlights in my career but i have to say those are my top three. Such a great feeling of adrenaline rush.
